F.O. Update...

I mentioned the other day about finishing mom's sweater...Well, here it is.

I think I mentioned before about my dislike for the finishing process...It was a struggle but I made myself finish it yesterday. I wanted to take the photo's outside and I don't think we have too many nice days left here.

This is my version of the "hallowig" from Knitty. What do you think? I had a little trouble understanding the pattern, so I came up with my own. The kids love it as you can see.

The Girl...This is her normal photo face.

The Boy...My ham!!!

I think it reminds me of a hairstyle from the 80's. Hubby thinks I look like "Raggedy Ann". He even tried it on, but I wasn't fast enough with the camera to get a picture.
The wig is not as snug fitting as I would like , so I think I will add some elastic to it. I will be making a few more of these for the hat drive since I still have a few weeks left. I think kids would really like this.

Your take on the Hallowig is sensational! Care to pass along your method? And your kids are a riot :)
