I DID IT!!! I made cables...

Well I have been talking about it and I finally did it. I am so proud of myself. It wasn't hard at all. I don't know why I put it off for so long. I found the cable pattern at in the knitting site. It was an 8 row pattern. I made a small pouch with drawsting ties (just to get my feet wet). I want to try making the "Irish Hiking Scarf" next. I found this pattern on the internet also. (if anyone knows the site, please let me know so I can give them credit. I forgot to save their address.) It's the same cable pattern I used before only it is three cables side by side. I thought I would finally use the cream colored yarn I bought months ago. I can't wait to get started. Now to try and finish that "To Dye For" sweater. I have been working on it. All the St. st. is good mindless knitting. Great to do while just sitting and talking or watching TV. I'm not too far from working on the bust line. When I get to that point I will drop down one needle size to make it a little more fitting on top. (I just hope it won't look like a maternity top!) Well I guess I'll go get to work, It won't knit it's self. :)
