I give up...

I gave up on my "To Dye For" sweater. I frogged and re-knit twice and just couldn't get it to work. I have no idea what I did wrong and neither did anyone else I asked. I cast on my stitches and started knitting, the stitches were making a swirling pattern. If you laid the piece out flat the vertical lines were not straight, I don't know how else to describe it...SO...I frogged it. I have decided to make a very simple garter stitch shawl instead. I am thinking of making a ruana using a cable pattern for my next project. The only thing holding me back is the fact that it would be a lot of cables. Who knows it might be fun. :)

Sorry that your To Dye For sweater didn't work out - :-( I've got a shawl with the same problem - it just doesn't want to work! Hope you had a nice Valentine's day anyway.
