Einstein Update...

I have been slowly working on my Einstein Coat. I wish I could get more knitting in but I just can't right now. My hands have been hurting a lot lately. I haven't had problems like this since the last time my R.A. flared up. I suppose typing would be out of the question if I actually knew how to type. I guess it's not so bad typing with two index fingers. :) So far I am half way finished with the bottom of my coat. I try to get at least a couple of rows done per day.

Yesterday I thought I would try working on a sewing project I had started. I made a reversible polar fleece ruana. All I had to do was use the serger around the outside edges. Well, of course it didn't turn out that way. The serger I have is a "Tiny Serger" made by singer. This thing has obviously lived past it's prime. Hubby bought it for me as a gift back in 1998. It has held up well till now. The smallest gear off the axel to the motor is damaged and I can't find a replacement. So now I think it's time to retire the little serger, that would if it could, and upgrade. (YYYIIIPPPEEE!!!!!)
