Ready for winter...
I finally finished my sewing project just in time for the winter weather. And here it is...

I got the chance to wear it today, and it's really warm. I used denim for the outer shell and two layers of polar fleece inside. I also made matching mittens.
I started another pair of socks. These are made with Patons Classic Wool. It's worsted weight so I'm using size 6 needles.

I had to put the wheat colored socks on hold till I can get to the store to buy regular needles. The needles I started with are the ones I use while traveling. I prefer aluminum needles when doing socks and of course I can't find them. So, I will have to replace them. This is my first sock project with a hand wash only wool. I wonder if I'll remember to hand wash them??? Just how small do you think they would get if I put them in the washer and dryer??? I hope I never find out.
